The annual London Sixes Cricket Competition, managed by London Tigers and Capital Kids Cricket, is the only international 6 a-side cricket event, enabling cricketers from community level to play against international standard players.
The Competition launched in 2011, led by a star studded side that included Min Patel formally of England and Kent CCC and takes place in Summer each year. The event aims to raise funds for the charities, Capital Kids Cricket and London Tigers. The money raised is invested to support the development of cricket in deprived areas of Tower Hamlets and Southall where many children cannot play cricket at a higher standard due to the lack of financial support.
Winners, runners up and player of the tournament are awarded prize money, trophies and the coveted title of the London Sixes Champion. Alongside the ‘Main Cup’ the four lowest placed teams will participate in a ‘Plate Competition’ with great trophies and prizes up for grabs.
