Cricket Club

In Partnership with Middlesex Cricket Board, Capital Kids Cricket, MCC Indoor School @ Lords, North Westminster School, Camden Sports Development & The Royal Parks (Regents Park)

This sport will be our priority in our second year development plan; we have a Cricket training session at Lord’s Cricket Ground and have created a Junior Cricket Club already.  Now we want to create a senior team similar to our Football Club structure so that the young people aged 16+ can participate and have an opportunity to get coaching certificates and volunteer in the community.

Attendances vary from  20 – 50+ participants. At the moment we have 76 members majority of which are from the BME Community.

We will be starting cricket training sessions at the MCC Indoor School later this year as soon as we can secure a long term booking.

Lords Taverners Inner City World Cup Cricket Festival

In August 2005 London Tigers co-ordinated and managed the UK Bangladesh Cricket Team in the Inner City World Cup Festival.

In this U21 festival most of our participants were below the age of 18, with two participants aged only 14.  This was a great experience for them anf they managed to reach the SEMI-FINALS.

Hopefully the experience we have gained this year can help us lift the trophy next year.

If you want to get involved in cricket with London Tigers or you want to represent Bangladesh this year in the Inner City World Cup please contact Jawar Ali @ London Tigers,
