ABOUT THE UK ASIAN COMMUNITY CUP

This is an annual football festival organised by London Tigers in partnership with Chelsea FC.  Chelsea FC and London Tigers were the first organisations in London to work together to promote Asian grass root talents to other professional clubs as well as the public, press and media. It has been held every year since 2003, with the finals always being played at Stamford Bridge Stadium.  This year there will be 24 teams representing their respective regions across the UK.

COMMUNITY COHESION

Although the tournament is targeted at the Asian community, we allow upto 4 non Asian teams to participate each year for good community relations and friendship amongs teams and spectators.  Over the years we have had teams representing Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Brazil, China, England, Scotland, Italy, Bulgaria, Ivory Coast, Japan, Mauritius, Nigeria, Somalia Vietnam and Zimbabwe amongst others.
