Wisden City Cup Success

The Times Tigers representing East London Region in the inaugural Wisden City Cup 2009 beat Barclays Eagles in a closely contested final on Monday 31st Aug 2009.  London Tigers would like congratulate all the players who took part in this team and a special mention to Raihan Hussain, Maruf Choudhury, Maaz Hafeeji & Soyfor Rahman for getting selected to play for the representative team to play against Middlesex CCC.

Raihan, Maruf & Soyfor have all played for London Tigers in various leagues and competitions this season.  Also 11 of the 18 man squad of the Times Tigers have represented London Tigers this season.  This is the 1st season London Tigers CC have been running a full programme of activities for all age groups.  Therefore, the involvement of so many of our players in the Wisden City Cup is a testament to our  ambition to create opportunities, to fulfill dreams from estates to elite levels.
