Inner City World Cup

London Tigers, representing Bangladesh in the Inner City World Cup narrowly missed out in the tournament, losing in the final on penalties to Cameroon. 32 teams from around the world competed in the tournament, including a lot of ex-professional footballers.

 
London Tigers, incorporating other football clubs such as Bury Park SC, Mohammadan Sporting Club, Beaumont FC, Indian Gymkhana, Stepney FC, Shadwell FC and others, have been competing in the Inner City World Cup for the past 12 years and indeed became the first Asian team to win it in 2001, beating five times winners Sierra Leone in the final. Bangladesh also came runners up in 1998 and 2004.
