He participated in a series of presentations highlighting the substantial work of London Tigers in the areas of sports, youth development and health care. In particular, he enjoyed an in depth discussion on issues of integration and the methodology that London Tigers has used to bring together individuals from many different ethnic and religious backgrounds. He was pleased to see how London Tigers has incorporated Prevent work in to its wider engagement activities thus contributing to the safeguarding of vulnerable young people.
“Radicalisation concerns us all. It is important that we share our good practices and learn from each other,” said Dr Krings. “Civil-society initiatives such as London Tigers are crucial. We will succeed only if everyone pitches in.”
